Commercial Feasibility
This independently commissioned document represented a speculative project feasibility report, completed to investigate the practicalities of incorporating a large new theatre/arts centre in a prominently located disused building within Cardiff.
Feasibility
While the application was never intended to be pursued past the initial feasibility stages, the report represented sufficient information for any potential developer to investigate the cost requirements of such a project. From these investigations, the developer would have the potential to develop the report with DPS Architecture for a specific site, adapting the design into a solution that could be constructed.
The report investigated the feasibility of utilising and converting an existing buildings structure and changing its current use. The project would retain the external fabric of the proposed building while creating a completely new internal arrangement.

Subheadings of the report included: Detailed site analysis, special investigations, massing designs, preliminary plans, sections, elevations and 3d visualisations together with construction and detailed technical information ready for preliminary costing.
